Bruce A. Gray, CPA, CGMA
A native of Southern California, Bruce received his Accounting degree from the University of Denver and returned to Los Angeles to start his career with one of the Big Eight accounting firms. During the course of his career he has worked in public accounting firms and private companies across a variety of industries.
Bruce's practice at Gray, Salt & Associates, LLP includes small businesses, non-profit organizations, and individual tax clients.
In addition to his work with the firm, Bruce has served as an adjunct professor at Chaffey Community College and at the University of Redlands where he taught individual income tax preparation.
Bruce is active in the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, currently serving on the Board of Trustees of the CalCPA Education Foundation and having served in various capacities at the Inland Empire Chapter and at the state level. He has also served on numerous other boards and committees over the years. In addition to his California license, Bruce is also a Colorado licensed CPA and a member of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Bruce divides his time between Claremont and his home in Milliken, CO. He and his wife, Marcia, have three adult children. He enjoys playing the piano, playing around with technology, and is active in his church.
Johanna Sweaney Salt, CPA, CGMA
Born in the Netherlands, Johanna Sweaney Salt moved with her family to the Pomona Valley, California in 1966. Johanna attended local schools, including Cal Poly, Pomona, where she majored in Behavioral Science and minored in Business Administration.
The first public accounting position Johanna held was with a small Pomona CPA firm while she was still in school. Other than a short stint as a Corporate Controller for an Orange County commercial real estate developer and international business consultant, Johanna has worked in public accounting ever since.
Now a partner in Gray, Salt & Associates, LLP in the Village in Claremont, Johanna's practice includes mostly small businesses, estate and trust tax clients, and individual tax clients.
Johanna has always been very active in the community and her profession, serving on various non-profit Boards in numerous positions. She is active in the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, having served in many positions at the local and state level, including CalCPA's highest volunteer position, State Chair. Johanna also serves on the AICPA Council and AICPA PCPS Executive Committee.
Johanna lives in Claremont with her husband, Jonathan Salt, a background painter in feature animation and freelance artist. They have four grown children, two darling twin granddaughters, and a very spoiled retriever mix named Monty. The Salts attend Vox Christian Community where they serve in various capacities.
Dalton R. Sweaney, CPA
Born in San Dimas, California, Dalton has lived in Southern California his entire life. Dalton graduated with his B.S. in Accounting from Chapman University where he was a four year starter for their soccer team, and served as a Resident Advisor for two years.
After graduating, Dalton immediately began working for a CPA firm who specialized in Business Management in Encino, California as a Staff Accountant. At this firm Dalton gained experience working with many entertainment industry clients and learned the nuances of that industry, including multi-state and international taxation. Dalton completed all the requirements for his CPA license in July of 2013, before moving to Gray, Salt & Associates, LLP as a Staff Accountant.
Now a partner at Gray, Salt & Associates, LLP, Dalton is building and expanding his practice with small businesses, entertainment industry clients, and individual tax clients.
Dalton completed the CalCPA Emerging Leaders program in the Fall of 2013, the CalCPA Leadership Institute in the Winter of 2014, serves as chair of the CalCPA Inland Empire Chapter Golf Committee, was awarded the 2015-2016 Inland Empire Chapter Young Emerging Professional for CalCPA and was awarded the 2016 CalCPA Statewide Young Emerging Professional of the year. Dalton has also been serving as an Assistant Coach for the Pomona-Pitzer Men's Soccer team since 2013.
Dalton lives in Claremont with his wife, Allyson Sweaney, and their two daughters born 12/31/2015, Abigail and Delilah Sweaney. Ally is a credentialed high school math teacher currently staying home to be with their daughters. Dalton and Ally met at El Roble Middle School in Claremont and enjoy being active in their church, Life Bible Fellowship, and their community, as well as playing soccer together.
Karly K. McCroskey, CPA
Karly graduated from Azusa Pacific University with her Bachelors of Science in Business: Accounting in May of 2014, then the year following graduated with her Masters of Professional Accountancy in May of 2015. She grew up just next door to Claremont, in Upland, CA.
Karly previously worked at Deloitte LLP, in their Multistate Tax Services department, and enjoyed the vast learning opportunities and experiences they had to offer, but knew a small firm was ultimately where she would find herself.
She joined the GSA team in July 2016, and she is so excited to be here. She enjoys going to church, spending time with friends, playing and watching soccer, loves being around kids and sharing in their excitement for life, and enjoys spending quality time with her family. Her hope is that our services equip you with knowledge and confidence in matters that may not come easily to you.

Kristin Luera, Office Manager
Born in Covina, California, Kristin has lived in Southern California her entire life. Kristin started working for her CPA father part time during high school.
A few years after graduating high school, Kristin was married and started a family. She worked full time for her father's CPA firm for a few years before working at some other firms. After having her third child, she decided to be a stay at home mother. After being home for almost five years, she decided to re-enter the workforce. Kristin began working for Johanna Sweaney Salt, CPA in Claremont, California, which is now Gray, Salt & Associates. She has been with the firm since 2007.
During her tenure at the firm, Kristin has taken a tax course at Chaffey Community College and obtained her Notary license.
Kristin lives in Rancho Cucamonga with her three children - Jared, Jenna, and Julia. She enjoys spending her spare time with her family.
